How do I submit my work?

Once you join DeviantArt and verify your account, you can upload and share your art with the community. The Submit menu at the top right of the interface provides links to submit deviations, status updates, journals, literature, and Subscriptions, as well as a link to create AI art with DreamUp.

To submit a deviation, click the Submit button or the Deviation option in the menu.

Upload and Submit

When you start to submit a deviation, you’ll be prompted to upload a file. Once uploaded, the file will appear in your Studio, so if you want to save it and submit it later, you can.

Once your file has uploaded, you’ll be prompted to add a title, tags, and a description for your deviation. You can sell your art, select the galleries and groups you want to submit your art to, and change a variety of other settings to suit your needs.

After you’ve got everything set the way you want, you can click Submit to make your deviation public immediately, or you can optionally choose to click Save as Draft and keep the file in your Studio for a later date. If you’re a Core Member, you can also click the arrow on the Submit button to schedule submissions.
