How do I customize my profile?
You can customize your profile in a variety of ways to suit your needs. Start by adding a cover image, and then you can change and rearrange the various sections on your profile to display what you want where you want it.
Profile Sections
You can change the varying sections that appear on your profile, and their order, by using the “Add Section” buttons, the arrow buttons, and the trash icons. You can also edit some of the individual sections by clicking the Edit icon on those sections.
At the very top of your profile, you can add the following sections to act as banners for viewers:
- The Carousel Gallery can be used to display a gallery or collection of art in a horizontal display across the top of your profile.
- The Promote Subscriptions section can be used to highlight your subscription tiers.
In the left and right columns of your profile, you can add a variety of sections based on your preferences.
- The About Me section can be used to display info about yourself for viewers, including a link to your personal website and social media channels. (This section can only live at the top of the right column of your profile.)
- The Deviation Spotlight section can be used to feature one deviation, be it one you’ve created or one you’ve added to your Favourites.
- The Featured Gallery section can display one of the galleries or collections you’ve created to highlight several deviations at once.
- The Watchers and Watching sections display deviants who watch you and deviants you watch, respectively.
- The Groups and Group Admin sections display the groups you’ve joined and the groups you help run, respectively.
- The Posts Feed section can be used to display up to 10 recent journals, status updates, and polls you’ve posted.
- The Post Spotlight section can be used to highlight one post you’ve created, so you can display significant text on your profile.
- The Donation Pool section can be used to collect DeviantArt Points for a specific cause. (Please note that once a goal you’ve set has been met, deviants cannot donate beyond that.)
- The Top Exclusives Supporters section can be used to highlight deviants who have bought Exclusives you’ve listed for sale.
Core Member Customization Options
In addition to the sections all deviants can use to customize their profile, Core Members can add Profile Skins and Custom Sections to their profile to further personalize the look and feel of their pages.
Core Members can also add the Badge Spotlight section to display their favorite badges, and the Llama Farm section to show off up to 20 of their Llama badges in a digital farm.
