What are Points?
Points are DeviantArt’s virtual currency that can be used in a variety of ways. 80 Points is the equivalent of $1 USD, and the more you have, the more you can do with them.
Some ways you can use Points include:
- Buying: Points can be used to purchase Core Membership, Premium Downloads, Exclusives, and more. Learn what you can buy using DeviantArt Points.
- Note that if you purchase a recurring Core Membership with Points, it is important to maintain your Points balance such that your Core Membership plan continues uninterrupted.
- Sharing: You can give Points to a deviant for creating art that inspires you, send a friend Points as a birthday gift, or show appreciation to another deviant for a funny comment. Learn more about giving Points.
- Donating: Sometimes, deviants may have a Donation Pool section on their Profile. If you want to give them a helping hand, donate some of your Points to them by using that section!
Points can be purchased from the Points landing page, which can also be reached by hovering over your avatar in the site navigation bar and clicking on Points in the menu that appears.
Additional guidelines regarding Points:
- Points can only be used on DeviantArt, and can only be given to or received by verified DeviantArt members.
- All Points transfers are binding and cannot be reversed.
- Points cannot be converted into any other currency.
- You can give a maximum of 3,500 Points per transfer, and a maximum of 20,000 Points to a single account each year.
- A complete record of your Points transactions can be found on the Points landing page for your convenience.
- DeviantArt will always keep your Points balance and transactions private.
