Adoptables are a category of Exclusives, and in most cases are character designs, outfits, or accessories. Other categories of Exclusives include digital art, mixed media, photography, traditional art, 3D art, and more.

All deviants can buy, give, and own Exclusives, and deviants with Core Membership can sell and resell Exclusives through an easy and secure automated system. Once purchased, the buyer will receive ownership of the Exclusive.
