When you request a commission offered by an artist, payment will not be deducted from your balance until the artist has accepted the commission request.

When a buyer requests to purchase a commission offered by an artist, both receive a correspondence message in their notifications. The artist can then review and accept or decline the purchase request.

The artist has up to 6 days to review your request and make a decision. At that point, the request will expire (funds will not be deducted from your account). You can contact the artist directly via notes if you would like to inquire further as to the time frame of your request being reviewed and completion of the requested item.

As an artist, upon accepting a commission request, the earnings will be deposited into your earnings. At this point, they will be held in clearing for 7 days to permit a review of the transaction. After the 7 day period, when approved, you may withdraw your earnings.

You will not receive a reminder from the system to complete the commission that you accepted. It will be up to you to complete it and communicate with the buyer in a timely manner or be subject to a refund.
