Sunsetting commissions

With ongoing efforts to modernize features and bring more powerful seller tools into Studio, commissions will be phased out. While this older feature no longer meets today’s creators’ needs, DeviantArt offers many modern tools that give artists better ways to create, sell, and connect.

Timeline:
  • May 1, 2026: Creating new commission listings will be disabled. Existing listings can still be edited or deleted.
  • July 1, 2026: The commissions feature will be removed from DeviantArt.
  • July 7, 2026: Any commissions requested by July 1 will remain available in your Notifications until July 7, where you can accept or decline them.
