How do I dispute an order made through the commissions feature?
When purchasing a commission from another artist, buyers should proceed at their own risk.
If you are not satisfied with a commission you received through DeviantArt’s commissions feature, you should contact the artist directly by sending them a Note. This way, you can politely communicate directly with the artist to resolve your concerns and reach a potentially satisfying outcome for both you and the artist.
If, after contacting the artist, you are still not satisfied, you can contact DeviantArt Customer Support, provided the transaction is within the 7-day clearance period for the payment. Please be sure to review DeviantArt’s Terms of Service before contacting Customer Support.
