What should I do if I've lost access to my account?

If you’re having issues logging in based on your username, password, or two-factor authentication, use the relevant link below to learn how to regain access.


If you’ve temporarily disabled password request emails or you are unable to log in even though you’re certain you have the right username, you’ll need to contact DeviantArt Customer Support via email by following the steps below. (You do not need to make another DeviantArt account for account recovery purposes.)

If you used a social login option to sign up to DeviantArt, you’ll need access to that account to regain access to your DeviantArt account. If you’ve lost access to the account from the social network you used, you’ll need to contact the support team for that network.

If you’ve lost access to your account:

Email accountrecovery@deviantart.com. When a team member responds to your query, you’ll need to provide additional information to confirm you’re the account owner.

Please note that if you can’t provide the requested information, team members may not be able to assist in recovering your account. DeviantArt team members will not deactivate an account on your behalf.
