What warnings are given before administrative action is taken?
DeviantArt nurtures an environment where members are able to freely express themselves in a reasonable fashion, but occasionally some members will express a varying level of courtesy or rudeness which can cause social conflict.
Self-Moderation Tools
All members are provided with tools to self-moderate any conflict, and these tools and their proper usage and application are detailed here.
Accounts demonstrating unacceptable behavior, whether by failure to obey DeviantArt policies or by engaging in abusive or disruptive community activity, can be subject to disciplinary action in the form of a temporary account suspension or the complete termination of an account while less severe infractions may result in an administrative warning being issued.
Written warnings, when issued, form a part of the permanent record associated with your DeviantArt profile and should be considered a clear indication that the specific behavior receiving the warning should not be repeated and that you should make an effort to ensure your community interaction remains within acceptable boundaries.
One or more written warnings associated with your profile can affect the severity of any future disciplinary action against your DeviantArt account that may be considered necessary.
