What should I do if I am having trouble logging in?

If you created your account with a social login method—meaning you created your account by linking it to your Google, Apple, or Facebook account—you will always have to log in to DeviantArt using that method.

If the page keeps refreshing and does not log you in:

Check to make sure cookies are enabled and that the date and time on your computer are both correct, then try logging in directly from the Log In page. If this does not fix the issue, make sure any firewall or antivirus program you use is not set too strictly.

In extreme cases, your IP address may be blocked. If so, this is to ensure the safety of your account. It may occur if our system continues to see outdated login tokens/cookies from your IP address.

Check your browser to ensure you’ve disabled any bots, extensions, userscripts, or bulk image downloaders that may be running and causing conflict, even if you think they shouldn’t. There may also be issues related to your browser’s cookie cache or how your browser is handling cookie changes and deletions. If so, see if clearing your cache resolves the issue.
