What are Premium Galleries?

Premium Galleries allow artists to sell a set of their artwork to supporters for a one-time charge. They can be used to sell comics, sets of HD wallpapers, packs of art creation resources, and more.

All content uploaded to DeviantArt (including deviations in Premium Galleries) must abide by DeviantArt’s Terms of Service and Etiquette Policy. Premium Galleries are a Core Member feature.
  • Visit your Gallery and hover over the Gallery carousel at the top of the page.
  • Click “Edit” to bring up the Gallery manager.

  • Click “New Gallery” and then select Premium Gallery from the options that appear.
  • Add a title and set a price for your Premium Gallery, then click Create.
    • The maximum price you can set for your Premium Gallery will vary depending on which Core Membership you have. Learn more from the Core Membership page.

Your newly-created Premium Gallery won’t appear for other deviants until you add a deviation to it. (Adding and removing deviations works the same way as sorting your deviations does with regular Galleries.) Once you add a deviation, the Premium Gallery will appear for viewers with a blurred-out icon and banner noting that it’s for sale. Learn more about moving deviations into or out of Premium Galleries.
  • Visit your Gallery and select the gallery you’d like to convert.
  • Click “Edit” to pull up the Gallery Manager.
  • Click “Sell as Premium Gallery” and set a purchase price
  • Confirm your decision and your gallery will be converted.

Please note: Sub-galleries are not supported in Premium Galleries, so if you want to convert a gallery that has a sub-gallery, you'll need to either move the sub-gallery or merge its contents into the main gallery.
  • Visit your Gallery and hover over the Gallery carousel at the top of the page.
  • Click “Edit” to bring up the Gallery manager, then click on the existing Premium Gallery you want to edit.
  • From there, you can edit the Gallery’s name, description, cover image, and price.

Adding a description and cover image to your Premium Gallery can help give viewers a better idea of what’s inside, to encourage them to buy.
Please note: Changing the price of a Premium Gallery will only impact new buyers.
Anyone who has previously paid for access to the Premium Gallery will not have to pay a second time.
  • Visit your Gallery and hover over the Gallery carousel at the top of the page.
  • Click “Edit” to bring up the Gallery manager.
  • Hover over the icon for the Premium Gallery you want to remove and click the three dot icon that appears at the bottom right of it.
  • Select “Remove” from the options that appear.
Removing a Premium Gallery cannot be undone.
If you remove a Premium Gallery, the deviations inside will still appear in your Gallery in the “All” section, and will become visible to all deviants.

Supported File Types for Premium Galleries

In order to be added to Premium Galleries, deviations must be .JPG, .PNG, or video (.MP4, .WMV, etc.) file types.

Once you’ve created your Premium Gallery, post on DeviantArt and social media channels about it! As long as your Core Membership is active, your art sales will also be shared in various places across the network via promotional banners.

If someone buys access to your Premium Gallery, you’ll receive a notification informing you of the sale, and your earnings from the sale will appear on your Earnings page. Learn more about withdrawing earnings.
