To submit a literature deviation to DeviantArt, hover over the Submit button in the top navigation of the site and select Literature from the menu that appears.

In DeviantArt’s text editor, you can type or paste in the writing you want to submit as a literature deviation. If you highlight specific text, the formatting bar will appear so you can change the formatting of the highlighted text, or you can click the + button to the left of a blank line of text to embed a picture, gallery, video, or emoji.

You can hit enter to start a new line and make the + button appear, if you’ve already started typing.

After you enter your text, click Continue and you’ll be prompted to add a title, tags, and a description for your deviation. You can also select the galleries and groups to which you want to submit your art and change a variety of other settings to suit your needs. 

After you’ve got everything set the way you want, click Submit to make your deviation public immediately, or you can optionally click Save as Draft and keep the file in your Studio for a later date. If you’re a Core Member, you can also click the arrow on the Submit button to schedule submissions.
