How do I modify or delete galleries I’ve created?

You can easily modify your galleries by clicking the Edit button next to "Gallery" on your Gallery page to load the media manager. From there, you can:

  • Create new galleries and sub-galleries, including Watchers-Only and Premium Galleries.
  • Sort, remove, or move deviations between galleries.
  • Change a gallery’s cover image.
  • Add a description to a gallery
  • Delete galleries.

Changing a Gallery's Cover Image

There are a few different ways to change a gallery’s cover image while looking at the gallery media manager.

When viewing your main gallery in the media manager:

  • Hover over the gallery.
  • Click the three-dot menu that appears on the gallery and click "Change cover image."
  • Select a cover image from your gallery or Sta.sh, or upload a new cover image.
  • Click "Done."

When viewing the specific gallery you want to modify in the media manager, you can hover over a thumbnail, click the three-dot menu that appears, and select “Use as Cover Image” to set that deviation as the gallery’s cover image.

Alternatively, you can click the pencil on the top right corner of the existing cover image to change it.
Share information and insight about a series of images by adding a description to your gallery. To add your own:

  • Visit the gallery you want to update, and click the Edit option that appears next to the gallery's name.
  • Add your description in the right-side panel.
  • Click "Done" to finalize your changes.

  • Visit your gallery and click the Edit pencil icon.
  • Locate the gallery you'd like to rename or remove, then click the "..." menu in the corner of that gallery’s icon.
  • Clicking "Rename" will prompt a menu for you to continue.
  • Clicking "Remove" will prompt a window to confirm you want to remove the gallery.
Tip: Deleting a gallery does not delete your content.
If you delete a gallery, it doesn’t delete your deviations, only the folder. Once deleted, the folder cannot be recovered, but the deviations can be found in your "All" or "Featured" galleries.
