What is your account suspensions policy?

DeviantArt membership comes with the expectation that your profile will be used in an appropriate fashion. Accounts found to be demonstrating unacceptable behavior, by failure to obey DeviantArt policies or by engaging in abusive or disruptive community activity, can be subjected to an account suspension.

What happens when your account has been suspended:

You’ll receive notification of the action, which may include a private message or reason concerning why the action was taken, and a timer will be added to your profile page.

Suspensions target you as a user and not just the profile you happened to be using at the time. If you use or create another DeviantArt profile while you are suspended, that action may be carried over to the other account.

What to do when you’ve been suspended:

Attempting to access DeviantArt through other profiles during a suspension may lead to further disciplinary actions and will result in additional delays in your account(s) returning to active status.

Please wait out your suspension, and if you have any questions or concerns about the action taken against your profile, including any appeals or requests to review the action, you should direct those inquiries to the DeviantArt Customer Support.
Submitting a ticket for a ban appeal or review does not guarantee your suspension will be shortened or reversed.
Suspensions form part of the permanent record associated with your profile. If you are subject to further disciplinary action, previously recorded suspension(s) will be factored in. This may lead to a longer suspension or, in the case of repeat offenders, result in any new suspension being escalated to an account termination instead.
