What are promotional banners?

Core Members who sell Commissions, Exclusives, Premium Galleries, or Subscriptions will automatically have their art sales promoted across DeviantArt in various locations to attract more attention to their sales.

Promotional banners will also appear when a deviant hovers over a Core Member’s avatar or username, so viewers can tell at a glance what art is for sale.

Additionally, Core Members can choose to display banners on the cover image of their Profile (on both desktop and the mobile website) and beneath deviations (on desktop only).

These Profile and deviation banners are set to appear by default if sales are offered, but can be enabled or disabled at any time from the Promotional Banners section of Account Settings, which can be accessed from the avatar menu at the top right of the site.

Please note: Core Members with art for sale will have their own offerings promoted on the right side of their deviations. Non-Core deviants may have their own content promoted on the right side of their deviations, but may also have content from other deviants promoted there.
