What happens if I move a deviation into or out of a Premium or Watchers-Only Gallery?

Moving a deviation into or out of a Premium Gallery (or Watchers-Only Gallery) will change who has access to the deviation. Be aware of the following changes before moving your deviations, in case any lead to results you don’t want.

When moving a public deviation into a Premium or Watchers-Only Gallery, the deviation:

  • Will stop being viewable to people who have not paid for access to the Premium Gallery (or people who aren’t watching you, for a Watchers-Only Gallery)
  • Will be moved out of all of your public Galleries, though it will still appear as a blurred thumbnail in the “All” section
  • Will have any previously-existing Premium Download setting disabled. If enabled, regular downloads of the deviation will be available to anyone who buys access to the Premium Gallery (or who watches you, for a Watchers-Only Gallery)
  • Will appear blurred nearly everywhere it appears, including in groups, other deviants’ Favourites, or Spotlight sections on Profiles
    • Please note that the deviation will remain visible in places where the deviation was manually added while it was public deviation (e.g. a thumbnail in a comment, deviation descriptions, journals, or custom sections on Profile and group pages)

When moving a deviation out of a Premium or Watchers-Only Gallery into a public Gallery, the deviation will become viewable to everyone regardless of whether or not they’ve paid (or watched you) to access it.

When moving a deviation from one Premium Gallery into another Premium Gallery, deviants who paid for access to the first Premium Gallery will lose access to the deviation unless they’ve paid for access to the second Premium Gallery as well. 

When moving a deviation from a Premium Gallery into a Watchers-Only Gallery, anyone who has paid to unlock the Premium Gallery will lose access unless they watch you. All of your watchers will be able to see the deviation.

When moving a deviation from a Watchers-Only Gallery to a Premium Gallery, your watchers will lose access to the deviation unless they have paid to access the Premium Gallery.
