How do I sell Premium Downloads?

Premium Downloads are digital downloads of high-quality content that Core Members can sell to earn from their art.

If you are a Core Member and want to sell your art as a Premium Download, you can sell both existing deviations and newly uploaded deviations.

When submitting a new deviation:

  1. Upload the file you want to sell as a Premium Download.
  2. In the “Sell your art” section of the Submit screen, select “Submit as Premium Download.”
  3. Upload the files you want to include in your sale using the “Attach File” button, then set a price for your Premium Download.
  4. Once you submit your deviation, it will be available for purchase as a Premium Download.

When selling an existing deviation:

  1. Visit the deviation page and click the “Sell Deviation” button.
  2. Select “Premium Download” from the options that appear and click “Get Started.”
  3. Upload the files you want to include in your sale using the “Attach File” button, then set a price for your Premium Download.
  4. Click “Sell Premium Download” and your deviation will be available for purchase.

You can sell published deviations from the Studio individually or in bulk by selecting the deviation(s), clicking "Sell Selected" in the top right, and choosing "Premium Download." This process allows for the bulk sale of up to 25 deviations at one time.

You can also sell Premium Downloads privately without publishing right from the Sta.sh page itself or from the thumbnail in the Sta.sh Studio tab. 

Send buyers a link directly to the Sta.sh page. After purchase, the buyer will be able to download the file. 

Premium Downloads, both public and private, should include a clear description of the specific files and the terms of purchase to ensure buyers fully understand what they are purchasing.

The maximum sale price you can set and the accompanying platform fee will depend on which Core Membership you have. Read What are the benefits of Core Membership? to determine your maximum sale price. (If your Core Membership lapses, the maximum price of an existing Premium Download will become $100 USD if you try to edit the deviation.)

As long as your Core Membership is active, your Premium Downloads will be shared in various places across the network via promotional banners, and if you’re a Core+, Core Pro, or Core Pro+ Member, you can also boost your Premium Download.
