How do I disable or enable notifications for mentions or badges?

When a deviant tags your username in a comment, journal, status update, or deviation description using the @ symbol, you will receive a notification letting you know that the deviant mentioned you. Similarly, when a deviant gives you a badge, you will receive a notification for it.

If you want to disable (or re-enable) notifications for either of these features at any point, you can do so from the Account Settings page:

  • Hover over your avatar in the site navigation bar (or tap, if on a mobile device) and select Settings from the menu that appears.
  • In the Notifications section of your Account Settings, toggle your on-site and email notification preferences, then click Save.
