How do I add a deviation to a group?

If you have the ability to submit art to a group, you can easily add deviations to a group in one of three places: on your deviation page, on the deviation page of art made by another deviant, or from the group’s Profile.

When viewing your own deviations:

  • Click the "Add to group" button beneath the deviation.
  • Choose a group to add the deviation to.
  • Once you select a group, you can select which Gallery you want. Depending on the group’s submission settings, you will see either “Added” or “Suggested.”

  • Select the deviation you want to submit using the box that appears. You can select deviations from your Gallery and Collections, as well as journals you’ve submitted. You can also use the “All DeviantArt” option to search for deviations you want to submit to the group.
  • In the top left corner of the box, click the menu next to “Add to Group Gallery” to pick the specific group Gallery you want to submit the deviation to.
  • Click “Select” after choosing the deviation and Gallery.

Note: You won't see “Add to group” options if you're not currently a contributing member of a group.
