You can add a background to your deviations to give your artwork some flair, accentuate certain elements of the art, or give your art a fun backdrop. All deviants can swap between a few backgrounds that will match the visual theme viewers use, and Core Members have access to even more backgrounds with more customization options.

To change a deviation’s background, visit the deviation you want to change and click the square “Change background” icon beneath it. A variety of background options will appear, and you can hover over each one to see how they will display if selected. Select the one you like, and then close the backgrounds menu to save your changes. 

If you want to remove a background you previously saved, the first option in the top left of the free backgrounds section will remove the deviation’s background.
